Open the app > Login with the valid credentials > Click on the check-in button > An information message will be displayed. Once read, tap "OK" on the message pop-up.
Location pop-up will be displayed > Set location permission as "while using the app".
To have a smooth location tracking, people application needs notification permission to be enabled & disable battery optimisation. We have provided a shortcut from the people application to resolve those.
Click resolve in the error pop-up. It will navigate to the next screen. Tap on allow for notification and disable battery saver.
Once you have configured all the settings, verify the location tracking information in the notification.
If you missed enabling the notification or disabling battery optimization in the previous steps, please follow the instructions below to resolve it from the phone settings screen.
Settings > Apps > Zoho people > Notifications > Enable
Settings > Battery > Power saving > Disable
Also, disable the adaptive battery for better location tracking.
Settings > Battery > background usage limit > Adaptive battery > Disable
Locking the People app will allow it to continue running in the background, enhancing the efficiency of location tracking.
To do this, go to recent apps > select the people > tap 'Keep open'. This will enable the app to run in the background.
