Zendesk for Zoho Projects

Successful project management software helps users effectively track issues. The Zendesk extension for Zoho Projects acts as an add-on to the Issues module in Zoho Projects. You can associate a ticket from your Zendesk account with an issue or a task in Zoho Projects using this extension.

Installing the Zendesk for Zoho Projects extension in your portal

  1. Click   in the upper-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > All Apps.
  3. Search for Zendesk for Zoho Projects extension.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Agree to the terms of service and click Install.
  6. Set your preferences under the General section.
    Choose the profiles and projects where you would like the extension to be shared.

  7. Agree to the Terms of Use and then click Save & Proceed.
  8. Enter the domain name associated with Zendesk and click Save Configuration.

  9. Navigate to the Connections tab.
  10. Hover over the Zendesk for Zoho Projects tile and then click Connect.
  11. Enter the Zendesk sub-domain name.
  12. Click Connect.
  13. Sign into your Zendesk account.
  14. Click Allow to allow Zoho Workflow to access your account.

Associating a Zendesk ticket with an issue or a task in Zoho Projects

  1. Navigate to your project and pick the task or issue that you want to associate a ticket with.
  2. Scroll down to the details page and click the more option icon () to access the Zendesk extension.

  3. Click Associate Ticket.
  4. Search for the ticket using the search bar or choose the ticket from the list.

  5. Click Associate.

Viewing a ticket

  1. Navigate to the task or issue that has the associated ticket you want to view.
  2. Click the Zendesk extension.
  3. View the ticket details that are associated with the current task or issue.
    The title, status, and owner of the ticket are displayed here.
  4. Click on the title to open the ticket in Zendesk.

Deleting a ticket

  1. Navigate to the task or issue that has the associated ticket you want to delete.
  2. Click the Zendesk extension.
  3. Hover over the ticket and click the trash icon.

  4. Click Yes! Delete.
