SDP Requests for Zoho Projects
ServiceDesk Plus is an Information technology service management (ITSM) tool to manage and track your IT and non-IT asset requests. With this extension, users can directly install SDP to associate and track user requests from Zoho Projects. These requests can be accessed from the Projects tab and the Task Details Page.
Install ServiceDesk Plus Requests for Zoho Projects
Click in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
Navigate to Marketplace and click Extensions.
Search for and click SDP Requests for Zoho Projects.
Click Install.
Establish Connection in Zoho Projects
Click in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
Click SDP Requests for Zoho Projects, and then click Connections.
Hover over the extension and click Connect.
Click Connect and then click Accept in the authentication prompt to authorize the connection.
Configure the SDP Portal in Zoho Projects
Click in the top-right corner of the top navigation band.
Navigate to Marketplace > Installed Apps.
Click SDP Requests for Zoho Projects, then click Configuration.
Enter the ServiceDesk Plus Portal Name and click Save Configuration.
Associate Request to a Project
Navigate to your project and click to view more tabs in the top navigation bar.
Click SDP Requests from the options.
Click Associate Request, search for or enter the request name, then click Associate.
Click the associated request to open it in your SDP portal.
Dissociate Request from a Project
Navigate to your project and click to view more tabs in the top navigation bar.
Click SDP Requests from the options.
Hover over the request and click to disassociate it.
Associate Request to a Task
Navigate to your project. Click Tasks in the top navigation bar.
Open the task, scroll down, and click to view extensions.
Select SDP Requests and click Associate Request.
Search for or enter the request name and click Associate.
Click the associated request to open it in your SDP portal.
Disassociate Request from a Task
Navigate to your project. Click Tasks in the top navigation bar.
Open the task, scroll down, and click to view extensions.
Select SDP Requests, hover over the associated request, then click to disassociate it.
Dissociating the SDP request from a task will also remove it from the project.
