Zendesk Sell for Zoho Projects

The Zendesk Sell for Zoho Projects extension makes it easy to keep track of your customers' details, so that you can better prioritize and manage tasks in Zoho Projects. It lets you manage contacts, deals, and tasks between these applications. You can view all the information from Zendesk Sell within Zoho Projects.

Installing the extension

  1. Click   in the upper-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > All.
  3. Search for and click on Zendesk Sell for Zoho Projects.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Agree to the terms of service, then click Install.
  6. Under the General section, select the profiles, projects, and users you want the extension to be shared with or given access to.

  7. Agree to the terms of use.
  8. Click Install Extension.
  9. Click Authorize.
    Sign in with your Zendesk Sell credentials.

Linking tasks from Zendesk Sell

You can associate tasks from Zendesk Sell with the tasks in Zoho Projects. This will help to track the tasks and complete them easier.
  1. Navigate to your project and click on a task.
  2. Click Zendesk Sell in the task tab.
  3. Click Associate Tasks.

  4. Search for the contact from Zendesk Sell that you would like to associate with.
    The Contact information, Deals, and Tasks associated with the contact will be fetched and displayed here.

  5. Under Tasks, tap to select the activities you want to link with the task.
  6. Once selected, click Link Tasks under Activity.
    The selected tasks will be linked under the specified task. They can be unlinked anytime.
  7. You can Edit or Delete the tasks within the Zoho Projects.
    This will be reflected in the Zendesk Sell.

Managing Deals

Click the Deals tab to view information about the deals associated with the customer. The details of the deals already available in Zendesk Sell will be displayed in this tab. If the details are not present, you can add them to Zendesk Sell.
  1. The Title, Value, and Status of the latest five deals associated with a customer will be displayed in a tabular format.
  2. Click Add New to add new deals to the contact.
  3. Enter Deal Title (mandatory field) and Deal Value.
  4. The Related to field should have the contact name that the deal is to be associated with.
  5. Click Add.

Managing Tasks

  1. Click the Tasks tab to view the details of the future engagement with the customer.
    The task details and the customer's name will be displayed.
  2. Click Add New to add new tasks to the contact.
  3. Enter Subject (mandatory field) and Due Date.
  4. The Related to field should have the contact name that the task is to be associated with.
  5. Click Add.

Uninstalling the extension

  1. Click   in the upper-right corner of the top navigation band.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace > All.
  3. Click Installed.
  4. Click Zendesk Sell for Zoho Projects.
  5. Click Uninstall.
