Can I enable or disable budget related fields while adding a project?

Budget related fields are available in the Add Project form only when the Project Budget is enabled.

Navigate to

> Portal Configuration > Org Settings > Project & Budget. Click on Budget Settings tab. Toggle the Enable Project Budget setting to disable it. This will remove the budget related fields in the Add Project form. This will not affect the budget related fields in Project Layouts.

If the portal is integrated with Zoho Books or Zoho Invoice, the integration must be disabled for disabling the fields in the Add Project form.

Can I add vacations and holidays in the project business hours?

Yes, it's possible to configure holidays in the project calendar.

Click in the top navigation panel.
Navigate to Portal Configuration > Date & Time Settings > Holidays tab.
Enter the holiday details and click Add Holiday.

Is it possible to configure the default timesheets such that they need approval?

Yes. Click

> Portal Configuration > Task & Timesheet, and then click Timesheet Approval.

Is there a way to change the portal settings?

Zoho Projects offers multiple options to setup your portal. Users can configure Notifications, Timesheets, Budget, Date & Time, Custom Domains, etc, from the setup page. Learn more.

Can I configure notifications for any task or milestone activity?

Yes, you can configure notifications for any task or milestone activity. Learn more.

Click in the upper-right corner of the top band.
Navigate to the Personal Preferences > Notifications > Personal Email.
Toggle the switches to customize notifications.

How do I delete the saved task list templates?

The task list templates can be deleted by the Portal Owner, Administrators, and Managers. Learn More.

How can I save the comments in a template that I create in a tasklist?

No, you cannot save the comments in a template because the Task Template does not support ownership, duration, notes or comments and documents or forums association.

Where do I create the Task list Template. Is this option available in Zoho Projects?

Yes, the Task list Template option is available in Zoho Projects. Learn more.

How to backup or export the project information?

Click in the top-right corner of the navigation band and then click Data Administration on the left navigation panel.
Select Backup. This is available only to the Portal Owner.
Click Export CSV to backup the project information.
Once the backup process is completed, you will receive an email with the link to download the project information. Learn more.

Can I change the portal owner in Zoho Projects?

Yes. You must be the Portal Owner in order to change the ownership. The ownership can be changed to another user only if the user is in the Admin role. Learn more.

Navigate to > Portal Configuration > Configuration and then click Portal Settings to access your portal settings.

Note: Only users with Admin role will be listed in the Select New Portal Owner drop-down. This updates the new portal owner. And the Portal Owner change is enabled only for paid plans. However, you cannot change the Portal Owner for the portals integrated with Google Apps domain.
