Issue List View

The Issue List View in Zoho Projects provides a clear and organized display of project issues, allowing you to view, manage, and edit issue details efficiently. It presents all issue fields as columns, making it easy to oversee and modify issue information directly within the view.

Global Issue List View

Global List View displays issues across all projects.
  1. Click Issues under the Overview section in the left navigation panel to access the Global Issues.
  2. Click Projects from the Group by drop-down to group issues by project. Each project will be followed by a list of issues for that project. Click None to view issues without grouping. This will remove the grouping and display all issues.

Access Issue List View

  1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel and then click Issues in the top band.
  2. Select List from the drop-down.

Predefined Views  

View issues based on preset views.
  1. All Issues: This view lists all of the issues in the project, regardless of their status.
  2. All Open: This view lists all of the open issues in the project, including overdue and currently due issues.
  3. All Closed: This view lists all of the closed issues in the project.
  4. My Open: This view lists all of the open issues that are assigned to the currently logged in user.
  5. My Closed: This view lists all of the closed issues that are assigned to the currently logged in user.
  6. Unassigned: This view lists all of the issues that are not assigned to any user.
  7. Overdue & Open: This view lists all of the issues that are past their due date and yet to be completed.
  8. Created Today: This view lists all of the issues that were created on the current day.
  9. Issues I Follow: This view lists all of the issues that the currently logged in user is following.
  10. Escalated Issues: This list lists all escalated issues based on the selected escalation levels.
  11. Assigned Via Pick List: This view lists all of the issues that have been assigned via a pick list.
  12. Issues Associated to Team: This view lists all of the issues that are associated with the currently logged in user's team.

Custom Views

Create Custom Views to display issues that match specific criteria defined by you.

Submit Issue Inline

  1. Click Submit Issue in the cell.
  2. Enter the Issue title and click Enter/return on your keyboard.
  3. Click on the Issue to open the issue details page.

Edit Issue Inline

  1. Click on any field corresponding to the issue to add or update the issue information.
 

Bulk Update

Check the box corresponding to the issues, then click:
  1. Move: Select Project and click Move to transfer them to another project.
  2. Delete: Confirm your action and click Delete.
  3. Associate Tasks: Select tasks or type task titles to search for and link them to the issue.
  4. Link Issues: Choose the link type and enter issue titles or IDs to connect related issues.
  5. Associated Team: Search for the teams and click Update to associate them with the issue. 
  6. Assignee: Select users from the dropdown to assign the issue to that  individual. 
  7. Tags: Manage tags by replacing, adding, switching, removing all, or removing selected ones.
  8. Due Date: Set the due date and time to specify a deadline for issue resolution.
  9. Status & Workflow: Edit the issue's status and workflow.
  10. Severity: Indicate the severity level from None, Show Stopper, Critical, Major, or Minor.
  11. Release Milestone: Associate the issue with a specific release milestone.
  12. Affected Milestone: Identify the affected milestone related to the issue.
  13. Module: Specify the module where the issue resides.
  14. Classification: Categorize the issue using None, Security, Crash/Hang, Data  Loss, Performance, UI/Usability, Other Bug, or Feature(New), or Enhancement.
  15. Reproducible: Indicate the issue's reproducibility from None, Always, Sometimes, Rarely, Unable, Never Tried, or Not Applicable.
  16. Flag: Set the issue flag to Internal or External based on its visibility level.

Manage Issues in List View

  1. Use  to search for and view issues filtered by specific issue details.
  2. Click   to start a timer for the issue.
  3. Click to manage existing linked issues.
  4. Click to manage associated tasks.
  5. Click   to manage escalations. Colors indicates the level of the escalation.
  6. Drag and drop the columns to reorder the fields.
  7. Click  to add fields as columns. click Create Custom Field to add a new field. This field name will be reflected in all the projects in the portal.
  8. Right-click on the field title, then click
    1. Apply Filter to add a filter to the corresponding field.
    2. Insert Column Before to insert a new column before the selected one.
    3. Insert Column After to insert a new column after the selected one.
    4. Hide Column to hide the selected column.
  9. Right-click on the Issue, then click:
    1. Copy Link to copy the issue URL to the clipboard.
    2. Follow to start following the issue and receive updates.
    3. Clone to create a replica of the issue.
    4. Move to move the issue to a different project.
    5. Delete to confirm and delete the issue.
    6. Notification Helper to access the Notification Helper and check if a user will receive notifications for a particular trigger event.
