Submit an Issue

Submit issues in your projects. A unique issue ID is created and assigned to your issue automatically.

Submit Issue

  1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the Issues tab in the top band to open the Plain view.
  3. Click Submit Issue.
  4. Enter the Issue title. Select a Project when submitting from Work Overview > Issues.

  5. Enter other details if necessary.
    • If your project has mandatory custom fields then you must enter data for these fields before you can save the issue.
  6. Click Add. Click Add More to continue adding issues.
  7. Edit the associate layout by clicking the edit icon () in the upper-right corner of the form.

Issue Prefix and ID

Issues will have a unique ID with a prefix preceding the ID. For example, if the Issue Prefix is set as TW, then issue ID will be TW-I1, I is for Issue. Issue Prefix is automatically set when creating a new project. Issue Prefix can be changed while editing a project.

  1. Use issues ID to search for issues.
  2. # mention an issue using issue ID in feeds, status, and comments.

Delete Issue From The Details Page

  1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the Issues tab in the top band to open the Plain view. Alternately, you can click on an issue from the Kanban view.
  3. Click on an issue to open the details page.
  4. Click in the upper right corner and then click Delete.
  5. Check the confirmation box and then click Delete.

Delete Issues In Bulk

  1. Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the Issues tab in the top band to open the Plain view.
  3. Select multiple issues and then click in the bulk update options.
  4. Click on Delete.
