Task Reports

Task reports view provide a consolidated view of all the tasks in a project based on their status, milestone, priority, owner, and completion percentage.

Benefits:

  1. Get the task count based on completion percentage
  2. View each user's tasks by percent completed
  3. Tailor-make the reports by comparing any two criteria and generate task report
Task and Issue reports: Basic reports are available in all our plans. Advanced reports are available in all our paid plans.
  1. Click Projects in the left navigation panel and navigate to your project. 
  2. Click Gantt & Report in the top band.
  3. Select Task Reports from the drop-down.
    1. Here, you will find six Basic Reports and four Advanced Reports.
    2. Basic Reports gives you the task count against five different criteria: Status, Milestone, Priority, Tags, Owner, or Completion Percentage.
    3. Advanced Reports gives you owner-wise task count by Status, Priority, or Completion. You can also create Custom Task Report based on different criteria.
    4. Advanced Reports are available in all our paid plans.
    5. You can change the Chart Type from the drop-down in the upper-right corner. Click to customize your filter criteria and get the results accordingly.
    6. Click on the chart columns to open the corresponding task view.

Advanced Reports

Create your own reports with our Advanced Reports. Custom Task Reports lets you compare various criteria and generate task reports. 
  1. Click Projects in the left navigation panel and navigate to your project. 
  2. Click Gantt & Report in the top band.
  3. Select Task Reports from the drop-down. 
  4. Navigate to Advanced Reports.
  5. Select from our predefined criteria or click Custom Task Report to see more customized reports.

Export Task Reports

You can export task reports and save them as a PDF file for easy access.

  1. Navigate to Task Reports.
  2. Click and click Export to PDF.

Custom View based Reports

Create reports based on your task custom views. Both Basic and Advanced Reports can be generated.

  1. Click Projects in the left navigation panel and navigate to your project. 
  2. Click Gantt & Report in the top band.
  3. Select Task Reports from the drop-down. 
  4. Generate reports based on the predefined criteria or use Custom Task Report to generate more advanced reports.

Global Task Report

  1. Click Reports in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the drop-down panel.
  3. Select Task Reports.
  4. Select a report type to view it. 
Types of Task Reports:
Basic Reports
  • Status - Report generated to view task count based on the status of tasks.
  • Owner -  Report generated to view task count based on the Owner.
  • Priority -  Report generated to view task count based on the priority of tasks.
  • Completion Percentage -  Report generated to view task count based on the completion percentage of tasks.
  • Tags - Report generated to view task count based on the tags.
  • Project -  Report generated to view the number of tasks in each project.
Advanced Reports
  • Owner-wise Task Status - Report generated to view the task count based on the status set by the owner.
  • Owner-wise Task Priority - Report generated to view the task count based on the priority set by the owner.
  • Owner-wise Task Completion - Report generated to view the task count based on the completion percentage set by the owner.
  • Project-wise Task Status - Report generated to view the task count based on the status for each project.
  • Custom Task Report - Report generated to view task count by comparing any two criteria.
  • Custom Time-based Report - Report generated to view task count based on time fields.

Custom Task Reports

Custom task reports lets users create reports by comparing two criteria. Reports can be generated based on custom and default fields.
  1. Click Reports in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the drop-down panel and select Task Reports.
  3. Click Custom Task Report under Advanced Reports.
  4. Select the criteria and then click Apply.

Custom Time-based Reports

Custom Time-based reports lets users create reports based on the time settings selected by the user. The user can choose two time based fields and select the time span in months, weeks, or days.
  1. Click Reports in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click on the drop-down panel and select Task Reports.
  3. Click Custom Time-based Report under Advanced Reports.
  4. Select the criteria and then click Apply.
