Customization section is where the users can tailor and adapt Zoho Projects according to their organization's specific needs and preferences. Users can customize templates and layouts to align with the unique needs of a project.

Use case

Marketing: You are a marketing associate who has to manage content creation for your company's blog. When a new blog post project is initiated, you can apply the "Blog Post Creation" task template which can have a set of standard tasks such as "research", "writing", "editing", and "publishing. With the customized task layout, team members can enter blog post details, including the target audience, keywords, and SEO analysis. The blog site can be embedded as a web tab directly within Zoho Projects ensuring access to everyone in the project. Using these customization features, you can streamline and optimize content creation processes, saving time and improving project consistency.
 
Software development/ IT:  A product manager works on bringing in new features to the application. When a new feature project is initiated, you can apply the standard task template that you've created previously as a common task template that has 'research', 'competitor analysis', 'customer needs', and 'review'.
 
Event planner: An event planner can organize birthday parties, office events, weddings, casual parties, and much more. Having customized layouts for each type of event is necessary. Birthday party tasks can include birthday decor, birthday cake, song selection, kids food menu, and so onetc.

Web Tabs

You can embed URLs from third-party applications, creating web tabs to suit your business requirements. You can also add web tabs to specific projects and user profiles, enhancing accessibility and customization.
