Idea
Use case:
A commercial construction firm, runs a custom module called Site Inspections in Zoho Projects. With no dedicated file attachment field, inspection photos lived on an engineer’s phone, signed reports sat in email threads, and permit scans were in a shared drive. Finding everything for one inspection meant checking three places.
The project manager, adds Files & Media field to the Site Inspections layout and configures it to match the company’s compliance requirements. They add field details;

Name: Inspection Evidence.
Allowed formats: JPG, PNG, and PDF only, so raw video files and unsupported formats don’t clutter the record.
File count: a maximum of 15 files per inspection,
File size: a maximum of 10 MB per file

During project audit, field engineer uploads eight site photos, the signed safety checklist, and the municipal permit scan to the Inspection Evidence field. When he tries to upload a 30-minute walk through video, the field rejects it because the format isn’t allowed. When he tries to add more than 15 photos, a prompt displays the maximum limit being 15 as per the set limit.

All the inspection records are stored for future reference in one place, with no searching through emails or drives.
