Global Web Tab

Many times, you may need to access a web tab that is common to all projects or related to your project management activity. In such cases, you can add a Global Web Tab that can be accessed from within the left navigation panel in Zoho Projects.

Benefits

Create web tabs common to all projects
Control the visibility of global web tabs based on user profile
Quick access from any screen

Create a Global Web Tab

Click in the upper-right corner.
Navigate to Customization > Web Tab.
Click Create Web Tab.
In the Create Web Tab page, enter the name and add the Web Tab URL.
Select the Global Tab radio button.
Select user accessibility through the All Profiles or Specific Profiles fields.

Note: A maximum of 30 Web Tabs can be added.

View a Global Web Tab

The global web tab added will be displayed under the Overview section of Zoho Projects. This allows you to access the web tab without switching to multiple screens.

Rearrange modules under Overview

Navigate to the Overview section.
Hover over the module name to view .
Drag and drop the module based on your requirement.

Now, the modules will be reordered accordingly.

Edit Global Web Tab

Navigate to the Overview section.
Hover over the respective Global Web Tab and click .
Select Edit Web Tab.
Make the necessary changes and click Update.

Alternatively, you can also edit the Web Tab by going to the Web Tab section under Customization in Settings. Hover over the respective web tab, select

and click Edit.

Disable Global Web Tab

Temporarily dismiss the access to the Global Web Tab using Disable Global Web Tab.

Navigate to the Overview section.
Hover over the respective Global Web Tab and click .
Select Disable Web Tab.

The Global Web Tab will be removed from the Overview section.

Alternatively, you can also disable the Web Tab by going to the Web Tab section under Customization in Settings. Turn off the web tab by toggling it off.

Re-enable the Web Tab

Click in the upper-right corner.
Navigate to Customization > Web Tab.
Enable the Web Tab.

Delete Global Web Tab

Navigate to the Overview section.
Hover over the respective Global Web Tab and click .
Select Delete Web Tab.
Click Delete to confirm your action.
