Web Tab

Web Tabs allows you to access your browser tabs within Zoho Projects. You can embed a URL from a third-party application and create a web tab within the product based on your business needs.

Feature Availability: Latest user based Enterprise plan

Benefits

Access web applications within Zoho Projects.
Add a Web Tab to a specific Project.
Add a Web Tab to a specific User Profile.

Note :

Only websites with https protocol can be embedded within Zoho Projects.
Some websites or applications do not support embedding their webpage in any other website to avoid clickjacking attacks.
A normal webpage URL cannot be used to embed the webpage inside Zoho Projects. Please add the src URL from the iframe HTML.

If the iframe HTML looks like this:

then use the src URL as shown below:

Create a Web Tab

Click in the upper-right corner.
Navigate to Customization > Web Tab.
Click Add Web Tab.
Enter the Module Name and the Web Tab URL.
Select a Project and a User Profile.
Click Add.

View a Web Tab

Click Projects in the left navigation panel and navigate to your project.
Click in the top navigation bar.
Navigate to Organize Tabs.
All the modules along with the Web Tab will be displayed. You can select a project and choose to show or hide specific modules in the selected project.

Note: A maximum of 30 Web Tabs can be added.

Edit Web Tab

Click in the upper-right corner.
Navigate to Customization > Web Tab.
Click Projects in the left navigation panel.
Hover over a Web Tab from the list and click to view options.
Select the Edit option and make the required changes.
Click Save.

Delete Web Tab

Click in the upper-right corner.
Navigate to Customization > Web Tab.
Click Projects in the left navigation panel.
Hover over a Web Tab from the list and click to view options.
Select the Delete option.
Confirm your action.

Supported Applications

Here are a few Zoho products and other third-party applications that are supported in Web Tab.

Zoho apps:

Zoho Show, Zoho Sheet, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Creator and Zoho Forms.

Other apps:

Loom, Vimeo, Airtable, Google Maps, Youtube, Google sheet, Google Calendar and Office365.
