Business calendar defines the work week, holidays, and business hours of an organization. Users can set different business hour schedules for people working across geographies, associate users with them, and manage holidays using holiday lists. This helps you track user activities and project timelines accurately based on individual work schedules.

- If you have more business calendars than your plan allows, the extra ones will be archived automatically.
- Users and projects linked to archived calendars will be moved to the default business calendar.
- Holiday lists beyond the allowed count will be deleted permanently.
On Plan Upgrade
- Archived business calendars will be reactivated automatically, based on the limit in your current plan.
- Deleted holiday lists will not be restored.
Create Business Hours
- Click
in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Portal Configuration and click Business Calendar.
- Click the Business Hours tab, then click New Business Hours.
- Enter the name of the Business Hours.
- Select the Working Hours and set the Start Time and End Time for each day by dragging the timeline.
- Hover over the work hours to edit or delete them.
- Set breaks by clicking on the time set for each day. Click on it to edit or delete the break time.
- Select a Holiday List or click Add Holiday List to create a new one.
- Click Add.
Business Hours with Different Hours Every Day cannot be set as the default or associated with a project.
Associate Users with Business Hours
- Click
in the top-right corner. - Navigate to Portal Configuration and click Business Calendar.
- In the Business Hours page, Click
in the Users column.
- Select the users you want to associate with the Business Hours.
- Click Associate.
Manage Business Hours
Edit Business Hours
- Click
in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Portal Configuration and click Business Calendar.
- In the Business Hours page, hover over the Business Hours you want to update and click
> Edit.
- Make the necessary changes and click Update.
Set Default Business Hours
- Click
in the top-right corner. - Navigate to Portal Configuration and click Business Calendar.
- In the Business Hours page, hover over the Business Hours you want to set as default, click
> Mark as Default.
- The default Business Hours can be viewed in Portal Configuration > Portal Settings and in the Project Information page.
- You can also edit the default Business Calendar from the Business Hours field in these pages.
- The portal’s Default Business Hours will be used as the Project’s Default Business Hours.
- The Project Default Business Hour will be used only for time log reminders. Updating the Default Business Hour for the project will not change the user's work hours or task duration.
Delete Business Calendar
- Click
in the top-right corner. - Navigate to Portal Configuration and click Business Calendar.
- In the Business Hours page, hover over the Business Calendar, click
> Delete.
Holidays
Create Holiday List
- Click
in the top-right corner. - Navigate to Portal Configuration > Business Calendar.
- Click the Holidays List tab.
- Click New Holiday List and enter the Holiday List Name.
- Associate Business Hours.
- Add holidays as per your organization’s requirements.
- Click on a date in the calendar to add a holiday.
- Enter the Holiday Name.
- Click Save.
- Click on the holiday to view its details.
Associate Business Calendar with a Holiday List
- Click
in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Portal Configuration > Business Calendar.
- Click the Holidays List tab.
- In the Holiday List page, click Associate Business Hours next to the holiday list.
- Select one or more Business Hours, then click Associate.
Manage Holiday List
Import Holiday List
- Click
in the top-right corner. - Navigate to Portal Configuration > Business Calendar.
- Click the Holidays List tab.
- Click
in the top right corner and click Import Holidays.
- Select the Holiday List and select the CSV file from the local device.
- Click Continue, map the default fields to the fields in the file and Click Continue.
Only CSV files can be used for importing holidays.

Edit Holiday List
- Click
in the top-right corner. - Navigate to Portal Configuration > Business Calendar.
- Click the Holidays List tab.
- In the Holiday List page, hover over the required holiday and click Edit.
- Update the holiday names or dates as needed.
- Click Save.
Delete Holiday List
- Click
in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Portal Configuration > Business Calendar.
- Click the Holidays List tab.
- In the Holiday List page, hover over the holiday list and click
> Delete.
Date & Time Settings
- Click
in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Portal Configuration > Business Calendar.
- Click the Date & Time Settings tab.
- Set your preferred date and time format (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY, 24-hour format).
- Define the first day of the week, select working days and weekends.
- Configure general business hours for your organization.
