User Settings
In Zoho Projects, users can set a name format, create a hierarchy based on roles, and assign reporting managers to specific users to facilitate access.
Availability: Latest Enterprise plan, Zoho One, and CRM Plus.

User Display Name Format
- Click
on the top right corner of the page.
- Click Portal Configuration > Configuration and select User Settings tab.
- Select a format from the drop-down.
- Click Update.
Enable User Hierarchy
- Click
- Click Portal Configuration > Configuration and select User Settings tab.
- Toggle the Enable User Hierarchy setting.
Configure User Hierarchy
- Click
- Click Portal Configuration > Configuration and select User Settings tab.
- Toggle the Enable User Hierarchy setting.
- Click Import CSV.
- Select a file to upload and click Continue.

View User Hierarchy
- Navigate to Users on the left navigation pane and then click Portal Users.
- Select Tree view in the upper right corner.
- Enable user hierarchy to access the grid and the tree user view.
- Users not mentioned in the CSV will be mapped directly under the portal owner.
