Zia is an AI-driven system that can streamline your activities in Zoho Projects. Zia has a conversational interface where you can get immediate responses to your questions on tasks, issues, and events modules in Zoho Projects. Zia can also suggest or recommend actions based on your project related activities.
For example, when you’re on a tight schedule and you want to know your upcoming events, you can simply chat with Zia and request “Zia, list my upcoming events”. Zia will instantaneously list all your upcoming events. Moreover, you can ask Zia about any task or issue details such as your active tasks, status of a task, due date of a task, unassigned tasks, overdue tasks, user details, tasks in a task list, and similar issue details.
Zia Bot
- Click Zia (
) icon in the bottom-right corner of the Zoho Projects screen.
- Toggle the Enable Zia option.

- Toggle the switch on the top-right corner of the chat box to disable Zia.
You can ask Zia to perform any of the following actions:
- Create projects
- View project details
- Create tasks or file issues
- View task or issue details
- Close tasks or issues
- Schedule events
- Change task priority
- Update task status
- Assign user to a task or an issue
- Start and stop task timers
Zia Insights
Zia insights sifts through the phase or task list data and generates valuable information that can be used to track and improve the efficiency of a project.
Enable Zia Insights
- Navigate to Setup > Portal Configuration > Zia.
- Click on the Zia Insights tab.
- Toggle the Enable Zia Insights option.

Access Zia Insights
Zia Insights can be accessed from the Phase or task list details page.
- Access a Phase or a Task List detail.
- Click on Zia in the top right corner.
- Zia will display insights related to the milestone or task list.

Zia Translate
Using Zia Translate, users can translate text from over 70 languages.
Enable Zia Translate
- Navigate to Setup > Portal Configuration > Zia.
- Click on the Zia Translate tab.
- Toggle the Enable Zia Translate option.

Access Zia Translate
- Navigate to a task or issue comment or description.
- Click on Translate button below the comment or click on the translate icon (
)next to the description.
- Zia translate will auto-detect the input language. Users can select the translation language from the drop-down and view the output.
