A Customer is a client company and includes organization level details. It is different from Client User profile as client user details record individual level details of the client user associated to the client company. Client users invited to a portal can be associated to a Customer.
Benefits:
Record Client organizational details and save them as organizations under Customers tab.
Differentiate between client user and client organization.
Add & record Contacts and other organisation level details under Customers tab.
Navigate to Users page from the left navigation pane.
Go to Customers tab.
Click on the Add Customer button on top right.
Add customer details and associate them to specific or all projects on the Add Customer form.
Click Add Customer.
Navigate to Users page from the left navigation pane.
Go to Customers tab.
Hover over the customer you want to view, then click to the left and select View Details.
Hover over the specific Customer and click .
Select Invite Client User.
Enter Client User details and click Invite.
Navigate to Users page from the left navigation pane.
Go to Customers tab.
Hover over the specific Customer and click .
Select Invite Contact.
Enter Client User details and click Invite.
Navigate to Users page from the left navigation pane.
Go to Customers tab.
Hover over the specific Customer and click .
Select Edit.
Enter Client User details and click Invite.
Navigate to Users page from the left navigation pane.
Go to Customers tab.
Hover over the specific Customer and click .
Select Delete.
Confirm your action and click Delete.
