Tasks listing page
Within the task listing page, you can perform the below actions.
Add Tasks
Click the
icon at the top right to add new tasks to the project.
Group and Sort Tasks
- Click the icon at the top.
- Tap on Sort.
- Select a group by criteria.
- Select the sort criteria.
View Tasks
You can view the tasks in the Plain, List, or Kanban view.
- Click the icon at the top.
- Choose a view.
Search Tasks
Click the
icon at the top to carry out a search for a task. All the relevant task will be displayed.
Filter Tasks
Declutter and view specific tasks using the Filter option. For example, it allows you to view only tasks that are assigned to a specific owner.
- Click the icon in the Tasks listing page.
- Choose the filter criteria.
- Click Apply.
Change Task Status
Click the checkbox
available beside each task in the task listing page to change the task status.
Task details view
Below are the task details that will be covered in the details page of the task.
Business card view of task
This view shows the task name, task prefix, tags, user assigned, tags, task status, due date, and priority of the task. You can also update the status, due date, priority, tags, and user by clicking the respective information.
The below details will be covered in the business card view:
- Task name
- Task prefix
- Tags
- Task owner
- Task status
- Due date
- Priority
The fields displayed in the business card view can't be customized.
Edit Task
- Click the icon at the top.
- Update the necessary fields.
- Click Save.
Follow Tasks
Follow the tasks to get task updates quickly.
- Select the task that you want to follow.
- Click the icon at the top right.
- Select Follow.
Move Task
You can move a task from one task list to another using this option.
- Select the task that you want to follow.
- Click the icon at the top.
- Choose a task list.
- Click OK to confirm your action.
Delete Task
- Select the task that you want to follow.
- Click the icon at the top.
- Select Delete.
Copy URL
- Select the task that you want to share or copy the URL.
- Click the icon at the top.
- Click Copy URL.
Subtasks
All tasks related to a parent task can be added as subtasks.
- Create a new subtask by clicking the icon beside Subtasks.
- Enter the subtask information.
- Add attachments, if needed, by clicking the attachments icon.
- You can update the status of the subtask by clicking the checkbox beside the subtask name.
- Click on the subtask to view the details of the subtask. You can update the subtask details from the subtask details page.
View existing comments and add new comments from this section.
- Add new comments by clicking the icon beside Comments.
- Enter your comments.
- Add attachments, if needed, by clicking the attachments icon.
- Click Done at the top right to save the comment.
Log hours
View the existing log hours and add new log hours from this section.
- Add new log hours by clicking the icon beside the Log hours section.
- Enter the log information.
- Click Save.
Documents
View all documents related to this task from this section.
- Add new documents by clicking the icon beside Documents.
- Choose the attachment type (Files, Scan documents, Photo library, or Take photo).
- Choose the required file.
- Click Done.
Dependency
- Add a dependency by clicking the icon beside Dependency.
- Select a task.
- Select a view type (Predecessor/Successor).
- Select a dependency.
- Add lag time if required.
- Click Save.
If there is an existing dependency, you can view it from this section. Remove the dependency by clicking the
icon.
Troubleshooting: Carry out a Pull to refresh action (swipe the screen downwards) in the tasks list view if a task added through the web app isn't reflected in the mobile app.
