User details
The User Details section displays the user image, along with the Name, Email, and Last signed in details. Click Edit to update the user image.
When you edit or update the user image from this page, the changes will be reflected in all other Zoho accounts associated with the same user.
You can also sign out of the app by clicking the
icon at the top-right corner.
Choose portal
When you are a member of multiple portals, you may need to switch between them to see the projects under each organization.
Your current portal will be displayed under the Choose Portal section. Select the portal that you would like to switch to by tapping on your current portal name.
Settings available in the Zoho Projects mobile app are specific to the mobile app and do not affect the settings in the web app.
Sync portal permissions
When there's a change in portal level permissions on the web app (for example, a change in Task settings), you'll need to sync portal permissions in the mobile app for the changes to be reflected in the mobile app.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Select Sync portal permissions.
Now, all the changes made to the portal in the web app will be reflected in the mobile app.
Access Zia
Choose your Zia preference, either via Voice or Chat, from the Zoho Projects mobile app settings.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Select Voice or Chat under the Access Zia Via option.
Feature availability: The Zia feature is only available for Premium and Enterprise users.
Compact view for Tasks and Issues
When compact view is enabled, you can only view the Task or Issue name and the Status from the respective list view page.
Personalization
Customizing the mobile app to your preferences will make app navigation more aligned to your needs.
You can customize the mobile app's font, language, start of week, and theme.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Choose your customizations under Personalization.
When you choose a device theme, the mobile app will be adjusted to the theme chosen on your mobile device.
Siri shortcuts
Zoho Projects supports hands-free operations using Siri. The suggested shortcuts can be added to Siri for added convenience.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Siri shortcuts.
- Click the icon beside the command to add them as a shortcut.
Enable the Share User Activities option to allow Siri to find the most frequent mobile app activities and provide improvized suggestions.
Voice-to-text
Your voice notes can be converted to text using this voice-to-text feature. You can choose Apple Server or Device to convert them.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Voice-to-text.
- Select Apple Server or Device.
Images attached to projects will be compressed so that they can be uploaded quickly.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Enable or disable Quick media upload.
Time zone
Changing the time zone in the mobile app will enable you to display all of the due dates according to your time zone. This is helpful if you work for an organization that is located in a different time zone than you.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Click Select time zone.
- Choose the time zone.
Sync profile picture
When you edit or update the user image from this page, the changes will be reflected in all other Zoho accounts associated with the same user.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Scroll down to the bottom to select Sync profile pictures.
Reset app
If you would like all the data from the web app to be downloaded to the mobile app, you can carry out a reset. However, please note that all user preferences set in the mobile app and data that has not yet been synced with the web will be deleted from the mobile app permanently.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Scroll down to the bottom to select Reset app.
Privacy and security
Your privacy is our priority. These settings allow you to configure the privacy of your mobile app.
Push notifications
Zoho Projects notifications will only be delivered to your mobile device only if the push notifications option is enabled.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Privacy & Security.
- Turn push notifications on or off based on your requirement.
Send to Zoho Projects
Help the Zoho Projects team improve the mobile app's user experience by sending:
- Diagnostics and usage statistics
- Crash reports
Enable Send anonymously if you do not want to disclose your details to Zoho Projects.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Privacy & Security.
- Enable or disable Send diagnostics & usage statistics.
- Enable or disable Crash reports.
- Check or uncheck Send anonymously.
Text copy
Enable this option to copy text from within the app. The copied text will be stored in the device's clipboard and can be accessed by other apps.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Privacy & Security.
- Enable or disable Text Copy.
Screen capture
If this screen capture option is disabled, you won't be able to take a screenshot or screen recording of the app. This ensures that the content cannot be saved or shared through visual recordings.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Privacy & Security.
- Enable or disable Screen Capture.
Document sharing
Enabling this option allows you to share a document from the app. When this is turned off, all Zoho Projects documents are secure within the app.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Privacy & Security.
- Enable or disable Document Sharing.
Show location for photos
When location information is available, the geolocation of a photograph will be displayed.
- Go to the Zoho Projects mobile app.
- Click Settings at the bottom right.
- Tap on Privacy & Security.
- Enable or disable Show location for photos.
