Create test cases without manually writing test scripts. The test recorder captures every action you perform on web or mobile apps, including the locators for the interacted elements. Recorded actions are automatically converted into test steps for your test cases.
The task panel contains a list of tasks for different platforms—web, Android, iOS, and API. Users can drag-and-drop or double-click a task to move it to the test case editor.
The editor provides two modes for writing test cases: Editor and Builder modes. The Editor mode is for automation experts who prefer to script directly. Builder mode is ideal for new and first-time testers.
The auto-suggestion feature helps with writing test cases. It auto-suggests tasks, previously saved parameter values, and functions that are saved within the same module as the test case. In addition, it provides suggestions for page elements and variables for substitutions.
The built-in compiler catches incorrect/missing arguments in tasks and inconsistencies within test cases. The compiler throws warnings if you try to save test cases without addressing these discrepancies.
Create test cases requiring human intervention, such as manual writing of tests, conditions, and expected outcomes. This view comes with a text editor for pre-conditions, test steps, and expected outcomes. Users can also attach relevant files to their test cases.
Maintain versions for every test case created. Users can compare and restore previous versions.
Get instant access to all elements created using the Refer Elements option. Review, copy, and add new elements, if necessary.
