What does Execute Next Rule do?
The
Execute Next rule
feature
allows you to
execute the next business rule if the
card
satisfies the criteria set by that business rule
.
For example, in the first business rule, 'Assign
Card', the
card
must automatically be assigned to the requestor's line manager if the card
remains unassigned.
And in the next business rule,
'
Testing Phase',
the assignee's line manager should be alerted to review the work
when the card moves to the testing phase
.
Now, when you enable
Execute Next Rule
for
the
'Assign Card'
business rule, the second business rule will
only
be executed
if
the card
satisfies the criteria
for
the
'Testing Phase'
rule
.
This
means you can
create business rules to automate workflows without
manual
intervention.
