Add multiple blueprints
In some cases, more than one blueprint might be required to capture the workflow.
For example, if Helen wants to handle reimbursement workflow with different set of steps for a confirmed employees and interns, we can create two different blueprints and set relevant criteria in each blueprint to map cards through the right blueprint.
For such cases, Qntrl supports multiple blueprints. You can add more blueprints to the orchestration after it is published or saved as a draft.
To add a new blueprint in an orchestration:

Navigate to
and select
Orchestration
from the menu.

Hover over an orchestration name, click
and then select
Add New Blueprint.
Follow the steps to create a new blueprint, validate it, and publish the orchestration to use it.
Manage associated blueprints
To view all the blueprints associated with a particular orchestration:

Navigate to
and select
Orchestration
from the menu.

Hover over an orchestration name, click
, and then select
View Existing Blueprints.
You can view the blueprints associated with an orchestration. You can also create a new blueprint here by clicking the Create New Blueprint
button. To edit a blueprint, click on the required blueprint.
Clone blueprint
To clone a new blueprint from an existing blueprint:

Navigate to
and select
Orchestration
from the menu.

Hover over an orchestration name, click
, and then select
View Existing Blueprints.

Hover over the blueprint you want to clone and click
.

Select
Clone.
Modify the blueprint as required and validate it by clicking
Save and Validate.
Reorder blueprints
Reordering helps users to prioritize blueprints.

Navigate to
and select
Orchestration
from the menu.

Hover over an orchestration name, click
, and then select
View Existing Blueprints.

Click
next to
Choose from existing blueprints.

Drag and drop your blueprints to order them according to your priority.

Click
Save.
A minimum of two blueprints is required to reorder blueprints for an orchestration.
Activate or deactivate blueprint
When an associated blueprint is deactivated, it will no longer be available to create cards. Cards already created using this associated blueprint will remain active.

Navigate to
and select
Orchestration
from the menu.

Hover over an orchestration name, click
and then select
View Existing Blueprints.

Choose
next to Choose from existing blueprints.

Toggle the button at the right end to activate or deactivate the blueprint.

Click
Save.
Delete blueprint
Blueprints that are no longer required can be deleted. Once a blueprint is deleted, the cards associated with the blueprint will also be deleted.

Orchestration
from the menu.

Hover over a orchestration, click
, and then select
View Existing Blueprints.

Hover over the blueprint you want to delete and click
.

Select
Delete.

Confirm your action.
Once a blueprint is deleted it cannot be retrieved.
