Recruiting KPIs, or Key Performance Indicators, are a set of measurable metrics that provide insights into the effectiveness of your recruitment process. These metrics are essential in identifying areas for improvement and optimizing your recruitment process to attract more qualified candidates, make data-driven decisions, and ultimately, build a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Zoho Recruit provides you with three types of recruiting KPIs: Time Metrics, Pipeline Metrics, and Diversity Metrics.
Time Metrics
Time Metrics are recruitment KPIs that measure the time it takes to complete specific stages of the recruitment process. These metrics include Time-to-fill, Time-to-hire, and Age-of-job.
Time-to-fill measures the amount of time it takes to fill a job opening, from the time a job is posted to the time an offer is accepted. Time-to-hire measures the amount of time it takes to hire a candidate, from the time a candidate is identified to the time they accept an offer. Age-of-job measures the amount of time a job opening has been posted, indicating how long a position has been open and active. These metrics are essential in assessing the efficiency of the recruitment process and identifying areas for improvement.

Time to Fill (TTF)
Time-to-fill is a critical recruitment metric that measures the amount of time it takes to fill a job opening, from the time a job is posted to the time an offer is accepted. This metric is an important indicator of recruitment efficiency, and a long time-to-fill can negatively impact the organization's productivity, revenue, and employee morale. Zoho Recruit allows recruiters to track time-to-fill for each job opening, providing insights into recruitment efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.
Formula: The clock starts on the metric calculation the moment a job opening is created. The clock stops the moment the job opening's status is changed to "Filled."
Time to Hire (TTH)
Time-to-hire is another essential recruitment metric that measures the amount of time it takes to hire a candidate, from the time a candidate is identified to the time they accept an offer. This metric is an important indicator of recruitment efficiency and provides valuable insights into the recruitment process's effectiveness. With Zoho Recruit, recruiters can track time-to-hire for each candidate and identify potential bottlenecks in the recruitment process, leading to faster hires and a more efficient recruitment process.
Formula: The clock starts on the metric calculation the moment a candidate is associated with a job opening. The clock stops the moment the candidate's status is changed to "Hired."
Age of Job (AoJ)
Age-of-job measures the amount of time a job opening has been posted, indicating how long a position has been open and active. This metric is important in assessing how effective job postings are and can be used to identify positions that are taking too long to fill. Zoho Recruit allows recruiters to track the age-of-job for each job opening, providing insights into how long a position has been active and how effectively it is being marketed to potential candidates.
Formula: The clock starts on the metric calculation the moment a job opening is created. AoJ is not applicable for jobs that are filled/closed.
Time To Submit (TTS)
Time-to-submit is a metric that measures the efficiency of your recruitment process by tracking the total time taken to submit candidates for a job opening. This KPI provides valuable insights into the speed and effectiveness of any hiring process. It starts measuring from the moment a job opening is created and continues until the candidates' profiles are submitted to the hiring manager or client. By monitoring the Time-to-submit KPI, recruiters can identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and improve overall recruitment efficiency, ensuring timely submission of qualified candidates and enhancing the chances of successful placements.
Formula: Number of candidates presented the offer vs who accept the offer as a percentage. Example: 10 Candidates are presented a job offer with 8 accepting the job offer = an 80% OA
