We can make your approval process better, faster, and smarter.
Using traditional methods to counter modern problems won't work. If parts of your approval process cannot be tracked effectively because it happens on paper, it's a problem. Zoho Recruit's Approval Process helps you automate your approvals by accommodating your real-life approval workflows in-product.
The tricky part is, how do we see what's going on? How do we track its status? How can we make it more efficient? Worry not, for we've got the answer!
Introducing a better way to track approvals
Zoho Recruit's Route Map allows users to keep track of the approval process for each and every job opening. With the Route Map feature, users and admins can track;
- Who submitted the approval request.
- When the approval request was submitted.
- Who have and haven't submitted their approval decisions.
- Which stage the approval process is in right now.
With this information in the back of your head, you can make sure the process doesn't become stagnant. Being able to track the progress of the approval process makes the users involved in it feel more invested.

Permission Required: Only users who have the required permission to view job opening can access its approval route map.

How Route map works
When a job opening enters an approval process, a pipeline view of said process is generated. This view will include data regarding what time the request was submitted and who the approvers are.
As the process continues to progress, the route map of the process will be updated for users to track who's decision is still pending and any comments added by users who approved or rejected the record.
Once the approval process reaches its conclusion, the route map will show users the approval history of the record and other related information.
Navigation
While viewing the approval route map of a Job Opening, keep in mind that it always flows from left-to-right. By default, the route map will show you up to four stages; where the process is at now and who the next three approvers are. You can use the arrow keys on both ends to view the complete process tree.
Note:
- The Approvals tab is active when:
- The record is currently part of an approval process.
- The record is Rejected.
- The Stages tab is active when:
- The record isn't part of an approval process.
- The record is approved.
