Office 365 Sync for Zoho Recruit

Integrate Microsoft Teams with Zoho Recruit to schedule interviews and synchronize your Zoho Recruit calendar with Microsoft Office 365. Once the integration is enabled, events and interviews created in Zoho Recruit or Office 365 can be synchronized between the two applications.

Enable Microsoft Calendar Sync   

You can enable Microsoft Calendar Sync using either of the following methods.

Method 1: Through Calendar Settings

  1. Navigate to Setup > General > Calendar Settings
  2. Click Sign-in with Microsoft.
  3. Click Sign-in with Microsoft, then enter the Microsoft credentials.
  4. Click the toggle to Enable Microsoft Teams.

Note:
MS Teams defaults to the Two-way sync option, which users cannot modify.

Method 2: Through Marketplace 

  1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > Microsoft > Office 365. Click  Manage.
  2. In the Calendar section, click Sign in with Microsoft.
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft credentials. Calendar synchronization between Office 365 and Zoho Recruit will now be enabled.

    You will see a Zoho Recruit Calendar in your Office 365 account. Events and interviews that you create in either application will now synchronize with each other. Note that the synchronized events and interviews will be seen in the Zoho Recruit calendar and not the other calendars.

Synchronize Zoho Recruit Contacts with Office 365 

  1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > Microsoft
  2. Under Office 365. Click Manage.
  3. Under the Contacts section, click Sign in with Microsoft.
  4. On the Microsoft account sign-in page, sign in using your Microsoft credentials.
  5. In the Configuration pop-up, map the Microsoft contact fields to the corresponding Zoho Recruit fields. A default field mapping is provided. You can modify the mapping as required.

Note:
Microsoft contact fields that are not supported through the APIs will not be available for mapping in the Configuration pop-up.

  1. Complete the field mapping and save the configuration. Contact synchronization between Office 365 and Zoho Recruit will now be enabled. A Zoho Recruit Contacts folder will be created in your Office 365 account.

Contacts created in either Zoho Recruit or Office 365 will synchronize with each other. The synchronized contacts are available in the Zoho Recruit Contacts folder in Office 365 and not in other contact folders.

Notes

Note

  1. Only contacts owned by the user (My Contacts) are synchronized with Office 365.
  2. During the initial synchronization, a maximum of 10,000 contacts from Zoho Recruit Contacts will be synchronized with Office 365.
  3. Contacts created through data migration or import will not be synchronized with Office 365.
  4. Contacts created individually in Zoho Recruit or updated using Mass Update will be synchronized with Office 365.  
  5. When syncing contacts from Microsoft to Zoho Recruit, a tag named Zoho Recruit <Company Name> will be created (for example, Zoho Recruit Zylker Contacts). Only the contacts associated with this tag will be synced to Zoho Recruit.

Disable Office 365 Calendar/ Contact synchronization    

You can disable calendar or contact synchronization from the Office 365 integration settings.
  1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > Microsoft > Office 365.
  2. Under Office 365, click Disable for either the Calendar or Contacts section, depending on which sync you want to disable.
Calendar or contact synchronization between Office 365 and Zoho Recruit will now be disabled.
Notes
Important Note:

When you disable synchronization or delete the Zoho Recruit Calendar or Zoho Recruit Contacts folder from Office 365, the events or contacts synchronized to Office 365 will be deleted from Office 365. The corresponding events or contacts will remain intact in Zoho Recruit.
