Overview | CRM Integration

Managing relationships with candidates and clients is challenging, especially when potential candidates could also be valuable leads. Hence, Zoho Recruit integrates with Zoho CRM, providing recruiters with a unified platform to manage relationships with both clients and candidates. This integration facilitates efficient data synchronization, allowing businesses to improve collaboration between teams.

What is Zoho CRM?

Zoho CRM is a Customer Relationship Management platform designed to help businesses nurture leads, manage client interactions, and streamline their sales processes. With a comprehensive suite of tools, Zoho CRM supports a range of functions from lead tracking to deal management.

Why integrate Recruit with CRM?

Recruiters often handle multiple tasks, from filling job openings to maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates. The integration of Zoho Recruit and Zoho CRM enhances these efforts by:
  1. Centralizing Information: Access and manage candidate and client data across both platforms, ensuring all essential details are in one place.
  2. Streamlining Processes: Automate critical recruitment workflows, such as creating job postings, nurturing candidate relationships, and managing client billing, to save time and reduce manual effort.
  3. Improving Collaboration: Enable recruiters and sales teams to sync, reducing redundancies and miscommunication.

Sync Types

The integration between Zoho Recruit and Zoho CRM offers two sync types, namely, 1-way sync and 2-way sync. These options provide flexibility in managing data between the two platforms based on your requirements.

1-Way Sync

With 1-way sync, Zoho CRM serves as the primary database, and any updates or changes made in CRM will automatically sync with Recruit.

For instance, when you update a client’s contact details in Zoho CRM, the changes will reflect in Zoho Recruit automatically, but updates made in Recruit will not sync back to CRM.

2-Way Sync

With 2-way sync, data is kept in sync between Zoho Recruit and Zoho CRM. Any changes made in one platform are mirrored in the other, ensuring that both systems always have the latest information.

For instance, When you update a candidate’s phone number in Recruit, the new information will automatically update in CRM, and vice versa.

Choosing the right option
  1. Use 1-way sync if you want to maintain strict control over your data and ensure CRM serves as the sole database for updates.
  2. Opt for 2-way sync if you want full integration and real-time data consistency between both platforms.

How this helps businesses

Foster better client relationships

Recruiters can use Zoho CRM to manage client relationships.
  1. Track Job Orders: Create and monitor deals in CRM for client job requests.
  2. Seamless Transition: Move finalized deals to Zoho Recruit to open job positions and start the hiring process.
  3. Streamline Billing: Once the position is filled in Recruit, sync data back to the CRM for invoicing and billing.
This ensures client interactions, from job requests to billing, remain smooth and transparent.

Nurture candidates better

Candidates often require nurturing before they are ready for placement.
  1. Nurture Leads: Copy candidates from Zoho Recruit to CRM and engage with them using CRM tools.
  2. Streamlined Transition: Once candidates are ready for a job opening, move them back to Recruit to continue the hiring process.
With this approach, candidates receive personalized attention, improving their experience and increasing placement success rates.
