1. Recruiters
   Experience heightened productivity by automating hiring workflows. They can mark candidates as "hired" in Zoho Recruit, seamlessly updating their details to Zoho People. This eliminates paperwork and the hassle of managing multiple applications.
2. HR Teams
   Enjoy streamlined processes for onboarding. Once a candidate's status changes within Zoho Recruit, their profile in Zoho People is automatically updated, granting them the necessary access rights and privileges. Additionally, it simplifies compliance management for both employees and contractors.  

Permission Required:

1. Only users with the Zoho People Integration permission can configure the integration. This is available by default for the Administrator user-profile.
   
2. The user must also be an Administrator in Zoho People to configure the integration.
   

1. Navigate to Zoho Recruit's Setup > Marketplace > Zoho > Zoho People.
   
2. Enable the toggle to activate the Zoho People integration.
   

How to map Zoho People fields with Zoho Recruit?

1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > Zoho > Zoho People.
   
2. Select a module and map Zoho People fields to corresponding Zoho Recruit fields.
   
   
3. Click Map Section to link Zoho Recruit tabular sections to Zoho People.
   
4. If you wish to undo mapping, hover over the mapped section and click Unmap.
   
5. Click Save.

Note:

1. Certain fields in both the Education Details & Experience Details sections will be mapped by default with Zoho People fields.
   
2. Irrespective of what fields you have made mandatory in Zoho People, only a handful of fields will be made mandatory in the field mapping section of the Zoho People integration. The same applies when manually pushing candidates to Zoho People. Listed below are the mandatory fields for both the Employee and Onboarding:
   
1. Onboarding: First Name, Last Name & Email Address
   
2. Employee: First Name,  Last Name, Email Address & Employee ID
   
3. Unlike Candidates & Employee module, Compensation data will not be pushed from Zoho Recruit, but will be pulled by Zoho People. This means that only the mapping is configured in Recruit and the data validation happens on Zoho People's end.

Moving attachments from Recruit to People

1. Enable the Automatically move candidates to Zoho People toggle.
   
   
2. Choose which module (Employees or Onboarding) you wish to push candidates to and select a candidate status from triggering data movement.
   
3. Click Update to save your configuration.

Note: In cases where one or more candidates cannot be auto-pushed to Zoho People, you will receive an error report in your email inbox that will state the error details for each record.

Push Offer Details to Zoho People

1. Enable the Push Offer Details to Zoho People toggle.
   
2. A pop-up will then be displayed showing you the default field mapping for both the Employee and Onboarding modules in Zoho People. Click Proceed.
   
3. A separate section will then be created for Offer Details as shown below.
   

Note:

1. While manually pushing a candidate to Zoho People, Offer Details will be pushed only if the user has permission to access offer fields (both module & field permissions). Similarly, for the offer letter to be pushed to People, the user performing the action should have the required Attachment Permissions.
   
2. The mapping of Offer Details with Zoho People fields cannot be changed.
   
3. The CTC field will be pushed to Zoho People only if the value is in per month or per year.
   
4. Only the latest Offer Letter accepted by the candidate will be pushed to Zoho People.
   
5. If a candidate has both Permanent & Contract offers active simultaneously, then only the Permanent offer will be pushed to Zoho People.
   

Manual Actions

1. Convert as Employee
   
2. Push to Onboarding
   

Note: When manually pushing a candidate with a withdrawn, pending, unsent or rejected offer, Zoho Recruit displays a confirmation pop-up before completing the action.

Convert as Employee

Permission Required: Only users with the Convert as Employee profile permission can perform this action. By default, this permission is available for the Administrator and Standard user-profiles.

1. Go to the Candidate and click More Actions > Convert as Employee.
   
2. In the Convert Candidate page;
   
1. Select Create New Employee or Create New Contractor.
   
2. If you convert the candidate into a contractor, the candidate will not have access to the employee portal in Zoho People.
   
3. Candidate details will auto-populated based on the field mapping configured while setting up the integration.
   
4. Click Convert.
3. The candidate will then be added as an employee in your Zoho People account.

Note:

The Duration of a candidate's Education & Experience is stored as a month range (From & To) in Zoho Recruit. This value will be pushed to Zoho People as shown below;

1. Education Details
   To Date (from duration) will be synced with the Date of Completion field.
   
2. Experience Details
   Work Duration will be split into two fields and synced with the From Date & To Date fields.

Push Candidate to Onboarding

1. Go to the Candidate and click More Actions > Push to Onboarding.
   
2. In the Push to Onboarding page;
   
1. Fill-in (or) map fields if necessary.
   
2. Candidate details will auto-populated based on the field mapping configured while setting up the integration.
   
3. Click Convert.
   
3. The candidate will then be added to Organization > Onboarding in your Zoho People account.

Note:

The Duration of a candidate's Education & Experience is stored as a month range (From & To)  in Zoho Recruit. This value will be pushed to Zoho Poeple as shown below;

1. Education Details
   To Date (from duration) will be synced with the Date of Completion field.
   
2. Experience Details
   Work Duration will be converted to number of months and synced with the Duration field.
