If you have a HackerEarth account, integrating it with Zoho Recruit enables hiring team members to send assessments to applicants directly from Zoho Recruit. There’s no need to leave Zoho Recruit to select and send a test or view the results. Everything can be done from the candidate’s profile.
Setting up the integration
You’ll receive the Client ID and Client Secret by logging in to your HackerEarth account (with Admin credentials). Once you're inside, go to Settings > Integrations and find Zoho Recruit. Click Connect with Zoho Recruit.
Click Accept to allow data to be transferred from HackerEarth to Zoho Recruit, and vice versa.
These will be a long string of numbers and letters. When you receive them, copy it to your clipboard.
With the keys in hand, sign-in to Zoho Recruit:
- Click Settings > Marketplace
- Locate HackerEarth in the list of assessment providers integrations and click on it
- Choose users/profiles to install the integration
- Add your ClientID and Client Secret to the fields that appear
The connection will be complete and you'll be able to start sending out assessment tests. When you send an assessment you can view the results directly in Zoho Recruit.
Sending an assessment to a candidate
To send an assessment,
- Navigate to the Candidates module and select a candidate
- Click Send HackerEarth Test
- Select the Test Name and click Initiate Assessment
- You can find the initiated assessment in the Candidate detail page
Once the candidate completes the assessment, you can find the result inside the HackerEarth Assessments module.
