HackerRank for Zoho Recruit

If you have a HackerRank account, integrating it with Zoho Recruit enables hiring team members to send assessments to applicants directly from Zoho Recruit. There’s no need to leave Zoho Recruit to select and send a test or view the results. Everything can be done from the candidate’s profile.

Setting up the integration

You’ll need to request an API key by logging in to your HackerRank account (with Admin credentials). Once you're inside, go to Settings and find Zoho Recruit. Click Generate API Key.
 
This will be a long string of numbers and letters. When you receive it, copy it to your clipboard.
With the API key in hand, sign-in to Zoho Recruit:
  1. Click Settings > Marketplace
  2. Locate HackerRank in the list of assessment providers integrations and click on it
  3. Choose users/profiles to install the integration
  4. Add your API key to the field that appears
The connection will be complete and you'll be able to start sending out assessment tests. When you send an assessment you can view the results directly in Zoho Recruit.

Sending an assessment to a candidate

To send an assessment,
  1. Navigate to the Candidates module and select a candidate
  2. Click Initiate HackerRank Assessment
  3. Select the Assessment Type and click Initiate Assessment
  4. Select between the HackerRank Test and the CodePair Interview
    1. While the HackerRank Test works like a normal assessment test (candidates can take their time to fill in their answers), a CodePair Interview works like a live interview wherein the interviewer can view the candidate's answer screen and provide feedback on the go.
    2. The feedback of the interviewer can be viewed under Notes in the interview record.
  5. You can find the initiated assessment in the Candidate detail page
Once the candidate completes the assessment, you can find the result inside the HackerRank Assessments module.
