Compose Settings for Email
Emails play a vital role in Zoho Recruit, facilitating communication with candidates, clients, internal teams, and more. Users often prefer a specific email style that aligns with their professional and personal needs. Compose Email Settings in Zoho Recruit address this by allowing users to customize their email editor preferences.
How it works?
You can choose a default font type and size from the available options. This font will be applied automatically to all emails composed using the Send Email/Create new email template function in Zoho Recruit.
Default Settings
- Font Family: Verdana
- Font Size: 10
Accessing Compose Settings
- Navigate to Setup > General > Email Settings > Compose.

- Choose your desired font family and size.

- Click Save.
Impact Areas
The configured font style applies to the rich text content of the email editor in the following modules:
- Candidates: Send Email & Submit to Client
- Applications: Send Email & Submit to Client
- Clients: Send Email
- Contacts: Send Email
- Vendors: Send Email
- Custom Modules: Send Email
In Setup, the following areas are affected:
- Profile Settings: Signature creation and editing
- Email Templates: Creation and editing
- Custom From Address: Signature creation and editing
- Unsubscribe Link: Editing
- Portal Notification Email: Editing
- GDPR: Editing the GDPR notice
- EEO Compliance: Editing the compliance (disclaimer and template)

Notes:
- Upon importing a template, its pre-defined font size and family settings will supersede any font styles you may have established within the editor.
- Even if the font size or family is adjusted for a small part of text in the editor, those changes will be applied as the editor's composing settings.
- Due to the absence of a footer editor for any template, footers cannot be defined in compose settings for new template creation or existing template modification.
Benefits
- Standardized Emails: Define default font family and sizes, ensuring consistency across all emails sent from Zoho Recruit.
- Reduced Effort: Eliminate the need to manually adjust formatting for each new email, saving time and effort.
- Increased Efficiency: Quickly compose emails with pre-defined settings, streamlining your workflow.
