Applications module in Zoho Recruit lets you keep track of candidate applications for every job opening. Just like customizing other modules in Recruit, you can customize your fields and layout for Applications module as well.
Note: When you add a field by drag and drop, you have two options:
a) Inherited field: Selecting this option will take the same value as that of the field in Candidate/Job Openings module.
For example: Sally applies to iOS Developer (job 1) with a mobile number; Sally also applies to macOS Developer (job2), but with a different mobile number. In this case, when you update Sally’s Mobile number in Candidate module, same number will reflect in Sally’s both Applications.
b) Non-Inherited field: If you do not to select Inherited Field option, field value will be taken at the time of job association.
For example: Sally applies to iOS Developer (job 1) with a mobile number; Sally also applies to macOS Developer (job 2), but with a different mobile number. In this case, even though you update Sally’s Mobile number in Candidate module, the 2 different mobile numbers will not change in both her Applications.
