Radius Search

Finding candidates in a specific location does not always mean they are close enough to the job location. Radius Search helps you narrow your candidate pool by finding candidates within a specified distance of a location.

How Radius Search Works

Radius Search lets you find candidates based on their proximity to a specified location. Enter a location and define a search radius so Zoho Recruit can find candidates within the specified radius constraint.

For example, you can search for candidates located within 25 miles of a specific ZIP or postal code.
You can use Radius Search in the following areas:
  1. Candidate Module Filters: Filter candidate records based on their proximity to a location.
  2. Refine Match (Zia Matches): Narrow candidate matches for a job opening based on location.
  3. Advanced Search: Combine proximity with other search criteria to find relevant candidates.

Using Radius Search

Candidate Module Filters

  1. Go to the Candidates module and toggle the Located within filter from the left-panel.

  2. Type in the location and pick a result from the list.

  3. Apply the filter. You will then see candidates located within the specified radius.

Refine Candidate Matches

  1. Open the required Job Opening and click the Zia icon.

  2. Click Refine Match.

  3. Under the location section, fill-in a location and the radius for your search.

  4. Click Search.

  5. The candidate matches will then be refined based on the specified location and radius.

  1. Click the search icon and click Advanced Search.

  2. You can then perform a Radius Search by filling a pincode.

  3. Click Search.

  4. The search results display candidates who match the specified location, radius, and other search criteria.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I use Radius Search with other search criteria?

Yes. In Advanced Search, you can combine Radius Search with other criteria to further narrow your search results.
You can enter a supported location, such as a ZIP or postal code, along with the required search radius.

What happens if a candidate's location is not available?

Candidates whose location cannot be identified may not be included in the Radius Search results.
