Zoho Recruit enables recruiters to post and market jobs that are defined for an exclusive remote set up. This means that people who are being hired for a "remote" job can have the flexibility of working from their home or any personal office set up.
How to enable remote jobs in Zoho Recruit:
To enable a remote job facility for a particular job opening, please enable this toggle option inside Zoho Recruit. While creating a new job requisition:
Click on the Job Opening module in Zoho Recruit
Click to create a new job
Under the address information, you will find the Remote Job option. Enable the toggle to ensure that candidates applying for this job can work remotely.
How to enable remote jobs on your career site :
Once your job is published, make sure that your Careers Site also reflects this change and displays remote jobs whenever a candidate is applying.
While customizing your careers site, add a filter of "Remote Jobs", that can be further filtered on the Job Type into either Full Time, Part Time or Contract.
How to ensure candidates learn about your remote jobs:
Remote jobs can be broadly categorized into three types. We would recommend that you follow a generic set of guidelines depending on the remote type of job that you or your company is hiring for.
1. Fully remote:
A remote job is one that is exclusively done away from the office in a remote location. Employees hired for this role would not be required to report and work from a certain office space daily. They will be working from their own location and coordinate virtually on all professional matters
To ensure that the right candidates apply for this job, ensure that your job description or the template specifically mentions phrases like, “This is for a remote role” or "remote work can be availed" or "Full time and remote" or just mention for a remote role. This will ensure that your candidates learn about it right at the application stage.
2. Work from home:
Unlike a fully remote job, 'Work From Home' allows employees with the flexibility to work from their homes on certain days and report back to their office on the others.
To ensure candidates understand that such a facility can be availed, your job description must consist of terms like,“Option to work from home”, "Flexible to also work from home" and “Work from home days possible”
3. Temporary remote work:
Some situations like a pandemic or office restructuring force employees to work from home. In such situations work dynamics change, and remote work becomes an immediate, but temporary need. In such situations, include details like “remote work due to COVID-19”
