To access Resume Parser Mapping:
Navigate to Setup > Resume Management > Resume Parser Mapping.
Review the list of parser fields and their corresponding Zoho Recruit fields.
The mapping page displays the fields recognized by the Resume Parser and the Zoho Recruit fields to which the extracted information is mapped.
You can customize the default mappings to determine where the information extracted from resumes is stored in the Candidates module.
To modify a field mapping:
Navigate to Setup > Resume Management > Resume Parser Mapping.
Locate the parser field you want to modify.
Select the appropriate Zoho Recruit field from the dropdown list.
Click Save.
The updated mapping will be applied to resumes parsed after the mapping is changed.

You can test your field mappings by uploading a sample resume and previewing the extracted information before parsing resumes in bulk.
To test the parser:
Navigate to Setup > Resume Management > Resume Parser Mapping.
Click Test Resume Parser.
Upload a sample resume and review the parsed information and verify that it is mapped to the expected fields.

Review the default mappings before importing a large volume of resumes.
Ensure custom fields are mapped correctly to avoid data inconsistencies.
Test mapping changes with a sample resume before processing resumes in bulk.
Periodically review mappings when new custom fields are added to your organization.

We offer two primary Import Methods
Import from Spreadsheet
Import from Document (Resume)
For each of these methods, users have two flexible options that accommodate different organizational needs:
Import My Candidates
You will be the candidate owner for the records imported using this option.
Import My Organization Candidates
You will have the option to select the candidate owner during the import process. Please ensure that candidate owner details are included in the column list of your spreadsheet that you are trying to import.

Import from Spreadsheet allows you to upload candidate data using Excel or CSV files, either individually or in bulk. The data from your spreadsheet columns will be mapped to the corresponding fields in the system based on your configuration.
Go to the Candidates module and click Import > Import from Spreadsheet.
In the Import from Document page, select your preferred import option:
Import My Candidate
Import My Organization Candidate
Upload your file (CSV, Excel, etc.)

(Optional) If you want to review candidates before adding them, enable Manual Candidate Approval.
Decide how to manage existing candidates: Skip, Overwrite, Clone.
Select a unique field like Email or Candidate ID for Find duplicate using, then click Next.
Advanced Options:
Character Encoding
Defines the encoding format for the imported file. This ensures special characters and symbols are correctly processed. (e.g., UTF-8).
Workflow Automation
Set up automated actions like emails or status updates during import automated emails, notifications, or follow-ups.
Date/Time Format
Ensures correct parsing of dates in the uploaded file. (e.g., MM/dd/yyyy).
Source Tracking
Specifies where the candidate data is coming from, helping with tracking and analytics. Eg: Job Portals, Employee Referrals, LinkedIn, Career Website, etc.
Tags
Allows you to add keywords or labels to candidates for easier searching and filtering.
Associate with Job Openings
Allows you to directly associate the imported candidates to specific job openings.
Match your file columns with the correct fields in the system
Review the Import Summary and click Import to complete the process.
Import from document lets you upload candidate documents (Resumes, CVs, etc.) and parse their details, individually or in bulk. The parsed details are filled in fields based on the mapping you have configured under Setup > Resume Management > Resume Parser Mapping.
Go to the Candidates module and click Import > Import from Document.
In the Import from Document page, select your preferred import option:
Import My Candidate - Add the resume as your candidate.
Import My Organization Candidate - Add it as a shared candidate for the organisation.
Choose how to manage existing candidates: Skip, Overwrite, Clone

Allows you to directly associate the imported candidates with specific job openings.
Source Tracking
Specifies where the candidate data is coming from, helping with tracking and analytics. For example: Job Portals, Employee Referrals, LinkedIn, Career Websites, and so on.
Tags
Allows you to add keywords or labels to candidates for easier searching and filtering.
After uploading, review the extracted details on the Parsing Review screen. Make any necessary edits, then click Update.

Review the Import Summary and click Import to finalise the process.
You can import multiple candidate records at once using a spreadsheet or a ZIP file containing candidate resumes or CVs. This is useful when you have a large number of candidate records to add to Zoho Recruit.
Depending on the type of data you want to import, you can use either of the following methods:

Note: When uploading individual files instead of a ZIP file, a maximum of 25 files can be uploaded in a single batch request.Go to the Candidates module and click Import.
Select Import from Spreadsheet to upload candidate data from a spreadsheet, or Import from Document to upload resumes/CVs.
For document imports, you can upload multiple resumes individually or upload them together as a ZIP file.
Configure the import options and review the candidate data.
Click Import to complete the process.
