Creating notes from transcripts
To create notes from transcripts:
- In the Study Data tab, load the required audio or video file using the Upload Data option located at the top right corner of the page, and open it. If the file is already uploaded, locate the file from the listing and open it.
- Locate the file from the listing and open it.
- Once the file is loaded, click Generate Transcript to auto-transcribe the content of the file. You can view the transcribed text beside the file.
- You can also add your notes for this file using the Add Notes option.
- Once the transcription is done and you've also added the required notes, click Export.
- In the "Export study data to project" dialog.
a. Select the desired project
b. Enter the name for the note, and configure the rules to auto-tag the transcribed text content. By default the file name of the audio/video file will be used as the name for the Note being created.
c. Click Copy to Project to create a note using the transcribed content and the notes that you added to the transcription.
