ResearchStudio offers an inbuilt integration with OpenAI in the bring your own key (BYOK) model, to:
Create tags using your own rules, or using AI, or both.
Automatically generate insights and reports using AI.
Automatically generate tags and apply them to your study data with AI.
This article will explain how to enable or disable the OpenAI integration and when your OpenAI tokens will be used in this integration.
You must be a super admin to enable this integration. Steps to enable the integration:
Click the Workgroup tab located at the bottom of the left pane.
Click Connected Apps -> OpenAI Assistant.
Input your OpenAI API Key. Click here for the steps to find your API key.
Click Verify Authentication to authenticate your key and click Save.
Toggle OpenAI Assistant on to enable the OpenAI integration. Toggle it off to disable the integration.
Go to Workgroup -> Connected Apps in Workgroup.
Click the Edit button in OpenAI Assistant.
Click the edit icon in the Secret API key field.
Input your new API key and click Verify Authentication.

Generating insights
Generating reports
Applying tags with AI
Applying tags to notes created using AI
