
These credits are used whenever RouteIQ converts a text-based address into its corresponding geographic coordinates which is necessary as the record needs to be plotted on map and be used for other functionalities within RouteIQ.
How Address Credits are consumed

Addresses updated | When an existing record’s address is edited and reprocessed. | 1 |
Queued Address Conversions | When records with addresses that are due conversion are converted | 1 per record |
Address Refresh Policy | When an address is reconverted into coordinates | 1 per record |

Note:
1. Each address-to-coordinate conversion remains valid for 30 days.
2. After 30 days, the conversion is refreshed automatically.
3. Each refresh consumes 1 Address Credit per record.
The Credits Usage Summary shows how and when your RouteIQ credits are used, giving clear visibility into Address Credits so you can plan purchases, manage thresholds, and avoid interruptions.
How to access 'Address Credits' Usage
Navigate to: RouteIQ → Settings → Credit Usage -> Address Credits Usage
Here, you will be able to see a separate usage summary for Address Credits Usage. This section can be analysed independently.
The usage tables show credits consumed during the selected period and aggregated totals based on the chosen time range. This helps you identify high-usage actions, track growth over time and correlate usage with business activity.
