Automated Check-in/out

RouteIQ makes sure that you never forget to check-in or out by notify you to check-in or check-out or automatically checks-in or out as you enter or exit a stop's radius.

This feature is available in the Professional Plan for iOS only. It's under development for Android.

Setting up Automated Check-in/out

  1. Tap your profile picture to open the settings.

  1. Tap Check-in/out Options

  1. Tap the toggle to turn on Automated Check-in/out


  1. Choose between Notify or Automate.

    1. When Notify is selected, RouteIQ notify you to check-in when you are entering the stop's geofence radius and to check-out when you are exiting.

  2. Enter the geofence radius

    Note: The geofence radius is the distance around the stop in which automated check-in/out is active. This radius should be lesser than the org-set Restricted check-in/out radius

    1. When Automate is selected, RouteIQ automatically checks-in when you enter the stop's radius and checks-out when leave the radius.


Note: Once this has been enabled, it will affect all your future routes but won't change your current ones. If the mandatory Visit Outcome form is not filled, then the automated check-out will not happen.
