Layout Customization

Layout customization helps you personalize the fields that are shown across RouteIQ's list view, record pop-up and map pin.

This is a user level feature. Each user has to customize the layout based on their needs.
The customization made here will also reflect in the RouteIQ mobile apps.

Customizing Layout

  1. Click the globe icon in the top right hand corner and open the Settings menu.

      2. Select "Layout Customization"

            
  1. Select a module. (By default the current module is selected.)

  1. There are 2 instances, where a module's info layout can be customized.

    1. List view

    1. Map Pin Info Window

List View

The list view info can be found from the list view of the module. Here you can select up to 2 fields that you want to view on the list view.

  1. Click the field you want to change and select a field from the options.


  1. Select apply in route preview, if you want the same fields to be shown while viewing the a record as a stop in a route.


Apply for Records Displayed in Routes

You can select Apply for records displayed in route if you want to view the fields selected for the list view in the route.

Map Pin Info Window

Map pin info window appear when you hover over a record's pin on the map. It shows you the record's display name and selected field.

You can select 1 secondary field and up to least 4 tertiary fields.
  1. Click the field you want to customize and select a field from the options.

  1. Click the '+' or '-' icon to add or remove fields for the record pop-up.
