Screen sharing for better customer support

How to enable SalesIQ screen share for your portal?

Navigate to
Settings > Global settings > Operator interface
, enable the SalesIQ screen sharing option.
How to enable SalesIQ screen share for a specific brand?

Navigate to Settings > Brands > Brand name > Configuration > Channels, toggle the screen share button to enable or disable the option specifically for your portal.
Initiating screen share from chat window
SalesIQ screen share option allows you to share your screen or request visitors to share their screen directly from your chat window without having to navigate through menus. The visitors need not install any software to share their screen using this option.

To share your screen with your visitors, in your operator chat window, click on the screen share icon on the top right corner.

Now choose the Share your screen option, this will initiate the screen sharing.

A new window will pop up and you have to pick what you want to share. You have 3 options.

Entire screen
: This will share all the content of your screen including your desktop, it is less efficient when compared to the other two.

This window:
This option will share all the content inside the selected browser window.

Browser tab
: This option will share all the content inside the selected browser tab, it is more efficient when compared to the other two.

After selecting your preference, click on
Share
.

Now the visitor will be able to view your screen on their browser.
Requesting screen share of visitor chat window
SalesIQ screen share option allows you to request visitors to share their screen directly from chat window without having to install any software to share their screen.

To request visitors to share their screen, in your operator chat window, click on the screen share icon on the top right corner.

Now choose the Request screen share option, this will initiate the screen sharing.

Visitor will be shown a pop-up requesting to share their screen. They have to click on the share screen option to proceed.

Once accepted, they can pick 3 options,
