How to install Zoho SalesIQ in Drupal version 9.x & 8.x through plugin?

To Install the Drupal Version 9.x or 8.x plugin:
  1. First, log in to Drupal with your credentials.

  1. Then, navigate to Manage > Extend  in the top menu bar.

  1. In the List section, click on Add new module.

  1. In the Add new module section, you can either provide a URL or upload a zip file to install.
    1. To Upload a module or theme archive to install : Download the drupal extension version 8.x from here, and upload in the  section.  
    2. To Install from a URL : use this URL  in the text box given: "https://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/salesiq-8.x-1.1.zip"

  1. Click on Continue.

  1. Once the file is uploaded in the Update Manager screen, click on Enable newly added modules.

  1. You will be redirected to the List section again. Scroll down to Utility and check the box for Zoho SalesIQ. 

  1. Click on the Install button at the bottom.

  1. A success message appears. Then, expand the Zoho SalesIQ section and click Configure.

  1. Enter the Zoho SalesIQ widget code in the given textbox. You can also choose where to display the chat widget in the website between View pages only and All pages.

  1. Check the Enable Chat Widget checkbox and then click on Save configuration. 

  • A Status message will be displayed regarding the saved configurations.

  • After that go to Manage > Configuration > Performance and click Clear All caches.

  1. You can now view the SalesIQ live chat widget displayed on your Drupal website. 


Installing Zoho SalesIQ in Drupal without Plugin

  1. Login to your Drupal admin console. Under "Manage" select "Structure" and then choose "Block Layout".

  1. Scroll down to Footer Top section and then click on "Place block".

  1. In the next window, click on Add custom block.

  1. Fill the mandatory fields i.e. the Block description as required and then choose "Full HTML" under "Text Format" dropdown.

  1. Click on Source in the Body section.

  1. Then, paste the SalesIQ live chat code in the Body section and then click on Save. 

  1. In the next window, add in the Title if not present already. Choose Footer Top from the Region dropdown at the bottom, . Then, click on Save block.

  1. In the next window, you will see Zoho SalesIQ under Footer Top. Click on "Save blocks".

Getting your Zoho SalesIQ Code Snippet

  1. Login to your Zoho SalesIQ Operator console.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Brands. Click on the name of the brand that you are attempting to include the chat widget in.
  3. Select Installation > Website, click on the code to copy it.
