Clearbit provides its customers with powerful data suite, which was procured by crawling and indexing websites and public information on companies as well as people with no interaction.To be more precise about the functionality of Clearbit, if you send an email address of a person or company domain via an API call, you will be provided with a bunch of valuable information about the input provided. On integrating Clearbit with SalesIQ you will be able to rate the visitors visiting your website thus narrowing down the visitor base to find the prospective ones. Ergo, integrating Clearbit with SalesIQ creates a powerful data reserve for the latter, thus escalating the throughput of your firm. 
This integration is available for Basic, Professional and Enterprise plans. Also, the 15-day Trial users of Zoho SalesIQ can avail, but the integration will automatically disable after the trial when it switches to the free plan.


How do I integrate the Clearbit (Reveal) account with Zoho SalesIQ?

  1. In Zoho SalesIQ, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Data Provider > Clearbit (Reveal).
  1. Click on Enable.
  1. Now click Connect with Clearbit (Reveal) option.
  1. Then, Log into your Clearbit account, and navigate to the API tab. You will find two API keys, copy the first secret API key .
  1. Back In Zoho SalesIQ, paste the Copied Key in the input field under  Let's configure Section.
  2. Finally, click on Update.

Set refresh time

How do I set a time frame to refresh the existing Clearbit data in Zoho SalesIQ?

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Clearbit Reveal (Under Data Provider) and then click on Advanced Configuration.
  2. In Advanced Configuration, choose the frequency you would like to set to refresh the data (Weekly, every 30 days, every 90 days.)
  1. We would recommend you to set the refresh period as 30 days.
  2. If the company/visitor data is edited/deleted in Clearbit it will reflect in Zoho SalesIQ while refreshing.
  3. If the data is deleted in clearbit, then the existing data will appear only in the visitor history section until the next visit of the visitor.


How do I disable the Clearbit Reveal integration? 
  1. In Settings > Integrations > Clearbit Reveal, you can click on the Disable button on the top right. 

Prioritize Visitors

How do I prioritize visitors based on the Clearbit info?

You can prioritize and filter the website visitors based on the Clearbit company information on the rings view.
  1. In the Live Visitor's view, click on Customize on the top right.
  1. Inside this section, choose Add to pick the conditions and criteria to categorize visitors based on Clearbit company information.
  1. Under Audience criteria, choose a criteria between Clearbit company and Clearbit visitors.
  2. Then, choose the criteria and condition for the company filter. Set similar rules for all the 4 rings. 
  1. Provide a name for the rule and then click on Save.

Now, your live rings view will reflect website visitors based on Clearbit company information.

Visitor Routing

How do I route visitors to operators based on the Clearbit info?

You can route the visitors to your operators based on the Clearbit values.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Visitor routing under Automate.
  2. Click on Add on the top right to to set your required filters.
  1. Choose the Brand  you want to map the routing rules to. 
  2. In the Audience criteria section, select between Clearbit company and Clearbit Visitors option.
  3. Choose a pre-defined condition for the same, and then click on Next.
  1. Then, choose from one of the various routing option available, and click Next . This decides how visitors are routed to your operators.
  1. Choose the required operators on the Operator selection section, based on your routing options.
  2. In the Preview Section, you can see all the rules you have set.
  3. Specify a name for the routing rule. 
  4. Finally, click Launch.

Chat Routing

How do I route visitor chats to operators based on the Clearbit info?

You can route the website visitors to your operators based on the Clearbit values.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Chat routing under Automate. 
  2. Click on Add on the top right corner of the window. 
  1. Choose the  Brand  you want to map the routing rules to.
  2. In the Audience criteria section, select between Clearbit company and Clearbit Visitors option.
  3. Choose a pre-defined condition for the same, and click Next.
  1. Then, choose from one of the various routing option available, and click  Next . This decides how visitors are routed to your operators.

  2. Specify a name for the routing rule. 
  3. Finally, click Launch.

Set Triggers

How do I set trigger actions based on the Clearbit info? 

You can trigger an action to the website visitors based on the Clearbit values.
  1. Navigate to  Settings > Automate, click on Add which you can find in the top right corner of the window.
  1. Choose a Brand on which the rule is to be activated.
  2. In the Audience criteria section, select between Clearbit company and Clearbit Visitors option.
  3. Choose a pre-defined condition for the same.
  1. Choose when would you like to initiate the trigger in the Chat Initiation section.
  1. Then, choose a trigger type in the Trigger type section.
  1. Configure the message and set the time after which the trigger should be inititated in the Custom Trigger section.
  1. Review all the criteria set for the Trigger in the Preview section and finally click on Launch.

Push data to CRM

How do I push Clearbit data automatically from SalesIQ to Zoho CRM?

You can map the fields in the Clearbit (Reveal) integration section to push the Clearbit data automatically from SalesIQ to Zoho CRM. By default, a set of fields will be automatically mapped based on the module (Lead/Contact/Accounts) you choose to push the data in Zoho CRM. 
  1. In Zoho SalesIQ, navigate to   Settings -> Integrations -> Clearbit (Reveal)  under  Business Intelligence, and click  Push Visitor Details to Zoho CRM.
  2. Toggle on the  Push company particulars to Zoho CRM   switch to enable the option.
  3. Then, Choose a CRM module to which you would like to push the identified company particulars section
    1. Choosing CRM Leads : Even if more than one email address received from Clearbit, only one among the email addresses will be converted as a lead and pushed to Zoho CRM.
    2. Choosing CRM Contacts : If more than one company email address received from the Clearbit then it will be automatically pushed to the CRM and each email address will be created as a separate Contact. For instance, if five email address in received from Clearbit, then 5 contacts will be automatically created and mapped while pushing to Zoho CRM. 
    3. Choosing CRM Accounts : A separate account will be created for each visitor hitting your website. But, the contact details associated with the company profile will not be pushed into your Zoho CRM.
  4. You can view default field(s) mapped based on the module, below you can map the SalesIQ fields and the CRM fields. The Clearbit data you receive in SalesIQ will be pushed to the module in the Zoho CRM.
  5. To add more fields, click the Map more option.
  6. You can Disable or Delete the fields by clicking on the icon adjacent to the mapped fields.

To get this option in Clearbit (Reveal) integration, you should have an account in Zoho CRM and the account should be integrated with Zoho SalesIQ.

Chat window

How do I view the Clearbit info in the chat window?
You can view the Clearbit details about the visitor such as Company information on Zoho SalesIQ on the Clearbit widget on the right side of the Operator chat window.

The information displayed about the visitor may vary based on the input received from Clearbit.

Visitor History

  1. On the SalesIQ dashboard, navigate to Visitors and choose a module. Click on a particular visitor record.
  2. The Company information of the visistor will be displayed on the Clearbit widget on the right.
  3. The visitor details may vary according to the inputs we receive from Clearbit.
Zoho SalesIQ will refresh the available data in the requested frequency to sync with the Clearbit data. Even if the visitor data is deleted/edited in Clearbit, only the existing data will appear in the visitor history section until the next visit of the visitor.

Set a criterion based on the data gathered from Clearbit. (Note: This criterion will be displayed only if you have integrated your Zoho SalesIQ with Clearbit)
