What is Mad Mimi?

Mad Mimi is an email marketing service that enables users to create, send, and track email campaigns without using templates.

How to integrate Mad Mimi with SalesIQ?

  1. Navigate to Settings > Developer Space > Integrations > Email Marketing >  Mad Mimi.
  1. Inside the Mad Mimi dashboard you will find two sections: Identifier Link and Smart Identifier Link.

As you click on these, both sections have disclaimers on privacy concerns displayed.  Check the checkbox accepting that you have understood the privacy concerns. The same can also be viewed within both sections by clicking on View at the top.


Privacy concerns

Using Identifiers might result in some privacy concerns for the visitors.
  1. If your visitor opens the identifiers link to visit your website, their details might appear in the URL and this information maybe exposed to advertisers and might affect your visitors' google search results.
  2. If your visitors' access the links while on a public wifi, their name and email will be exposed.

  1. Identifier links help you find the name and email of the visitor visiting your website by clicking on the link from the campaign. 
  2. You need to paste the link you embed in the campaign - the one that directs visitors to your website in the Enter the Website Link field and click Generate. The identifier params will be added to the link. Then, you can copy the link generated and add it to the email.

Smart Identifiers are nothing but a 1x1 pixel tracking image attached to the email campaigns, The identifier params are added to the link. You can copy and use the link to your 'email content' to identify the recipients name and email when they visit your website by clicking on the link in the campaign.

Smart identifiers will not work in the following conditions:

  1. If the recipient has disabled the image loading option in the email client.

  2. If the image is stored and served from the email server (Eg: Gmail)

How to identify website visitors name and email address referred from campaign emails sent through Mad Mimi

You can identify the website visitors from the Mad Mimi campaign by adding the below mentioned SalesIQ parameter after the backlinks (which directs the customer to your website) in the campaign emails.
  1. ?siq_name=(firstname) (lastname)&siq_email=(email)
  1. (lastname)&siq_email=(email)
In case if the URL contains the question mark (?) at its suffix then include the backlink preceded by an ampersand (&) symbol.

  1. /index.php?module=Products&siq_name=(firstname) (lastname)&siq_email=(email)
If not, then include the backlink preceded by the question mark (?) as shown below.

  1. (lastname)&siq_email=(email)

How to categorize website visitors based on Campaign UTM variables?

SalesIQ allows users to modify and set their conditions based on campaign UTM variables for prioritizing the visitors in their dashboard.
  1. In the Live Visitor's view, click on Customize on the top right. 
  1. Inside this section, choose Add to pick the conditions and criteria to categorize visitors by Campaign UTM variables.
  1. Under Audience Criteria, select a condition relating to campaigns. These could be Campaign Content, Campaign Medium, Campaign Source, Campaign Term and Campaign Name.
  1. Define a "criteria" for your conditions and click on Next. Specify conditions and criteria for all four rings.
  1. Next, give a name to this rule and choose this Custom view for your SalesIQ dashboard. Now, the visitors visiting your website from the email campaign will be prioritized in the specified tracking rings.

How to initiate chat triggers based on Campaign UTM variables?

To automate proactive chat triggers, or to set up an action for your chat widget in the website conditions based on campaign UTM variables, do the following:
  1. Navigate to  Settings > Automate > Triggers and then click on 'Add' to create a new trigger with required Campaign UTM filters.
  1. Next, if you have multiple brands within your portal, choose the brand for which you want to set up you want to set up your trigger.
  1. Choose the audience - select a condition relating to campaigns. These could be Campaign Content, Campaign Medium, Campaign Source, Campaign Term and Campaign NameThen, define a criteria for your trigger and click on Next.
  1. In the “When would you like to initiate the trigger?” section, select an option.(on the landing page or while accessing any page on the website).
  1. Choose the type of action you would like your trigger to perform in the “Custom Trigger” section.
  1. Finally, set the time after which you would like to perform the action in the “after” text box.

How to route visitors to the required users based on the Campaign UTM variables?

To route the tracked visitor to the specific agent and to personalize the visitor tracking according to your business needs, do the following:
  1. Navigate to Settings > Automate > Visitor Routing.
  2. Click on the "Add" to set your required filters.
  1. Choose the audience - select a condition relating to campaigns. These could be Campaign Content, Campaign Medium, Campaign Source, Campaign Term and Campaign NameThen, define a criteria for your condition.
  1. Add the agents name in the “Route to Operators” section, select "Route to Selected Operators".
  1. Add your preferred operators using the search bar or simply select the operators from the list. Then, click on Next.
  1. To remove the added agents, hover over the agents and click " " symbol.
  1. Give a name to your Routing Rule and then click on "Launch".
