Integrating DeepL Translate with SalesIQ

Integrating DeepL Translate with SalesIQ

Info
Note to customers: This feature is part of our upcoming Summer ’26 release and will be rolled out in phases. If you would like early access to explore the feature, please fill out this form.
DeepL Translate integration in Zoho SalesIQ enables operators to communicate with visitors in different languages by instantly translating messages during conversations. This integration helps teams provide seamless multilingual support without requiring operators to switch between external translation tools.
With DeepL Translate enabled in SalesIQ, you can:
  1. Translate chat messages between operators and visitors in real time.
  2. Help operators assist global visitors using their preferred language.
  3. Deliver smoother conversations and improve response efficiency.
DeepL works directly within the operator chat window, ensuring translations happen alongside ongoing conversations while maintaining the original context of messages.

How to enable DeepL Translate integration?

To start using DeepL Translate in SalesIQ, you must connect your DeepL account using an authentication token.
Steps to enable the integration:
  1. Log in to your Zoho SalesIQ account.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Translate → DeepL Translate.

  1. Click on Add to begin integration setup.

  1. Enter your DeepL authentication token in the configuration field and click Enable. This will connect your DeepL Translate account with SalesIQ.

  1. If you want to modify or change the connection, go into the Connect to DeepL Translate section to update the API token.

Once setup is complete, DeepL Translate will be enabled for your SalesIQ portal and can be used during operator conversations.

Advanced configurations

After connecting DeepL Translate, you can configure how visitor language detection works during chats.

Language detection: Here, you can choose how SalesIQ must detect the visitor’s language before translating messages. This can be either:
  1. Automatic: The visitor’s language is detected automatically. A translation prompt will appear once the language is identified, allowing operators to translate messages instantly.
  2. Manual: Operators can manually choose when to detect the visitor’s language and translate messages based on their preference.
