Smart Identifiers are nothing but a 1x1 pixel tracking image attached to the email campaigns, The identifier params are added to the link. You can copy and use the link to your 'email content' to identify the recipients name and email when they visit your website by clicking on the link in the campaign.
Smart identifiers will not work in the following conditions:
If the recipient has disabled the image loading option in the email client.
If the image is stored and served from the email server (Eg: Gmail).
How to identify website visitors name and email address referred from campaign emails sent through Aurea (lyris)
You can identify the website visitors from the Lyris campaign by adding the SalesIQ parameter mentioned below after the backlinks (which directs the customer to your website) in the campaign emails.
