Edit the source range of a table
To edit the source range:
1. Select the table for which you wish to edit the cell range.
2. Go to the side pane and click 
3. In the side pane, click Edit besides Source.
The header of the new table must remain in the same row of the existing table and the new table must overlap the existing table.
