OCT2DEC

Converts a given octal number to decimal.

 

Syntax

 

OCT2DEC(octal_number)
octal_number: The octal number you want to convert into decimal. It can contain a maximum of 10 characters, between 0-7. Eg., 77

#N/A!

  • The function could not find the value it was asked to look for. Commonly occurs in VLOOKUP and similar functions.

#NAME!

  • The function name is incorrect or invalid.

  • Double quotes are missing for text values in the function.

  • Colon missing in a cell range reference.

#REF!

  • The given cell reference is incorrect or invalid. This error may occur when a cell/range has been deleted, moved, or pasted over.

#NUM!

  • The characters in the given number are not between 0-7.
