Returns the number of areas in a given reference. An area refers to a range of adjacent cells or a single cell.
Syntax
AREAS(cell_ref)
cell_ref: The cell reference in which you want to find the number of areas. Can be a single range, or multiple ranges of cells separated by the tilde symbol (~). E.g. A1:A8~C1:C8~E1:E8
