WRAPCOLS

Converts a row or column of values into a two-dimensional array by column.
 
Syntax
 
WRAPCOLS(values; wrap_count; [fill_with])
values: The cell range containing the values to wrap. Eg., A2:A9
wrap_count: The number of cells in a column after which the function must create a new column. Eg., 3
fill_with: A value to use when one or more text values are missing in the result. Defaults to #N/A if omitted. Eg., "-"

#N/A!
  • The column count in one or more of the given arrays is less than the maximum count.
#NAME!
  • The function name is incorrect or invalid.
  • The given defined name (if any) is invalid.
  • There is a typo in the defined name used in the function.
  • Double quotes are missing for text values in the function.
  • Colon missing in a cell range reference.
#VALUE!
  • The given argument's data type is incorrect or invalid.
#REF!
  • The given cell reference is incorrect or invalid. This error may occur when a cell/range has been deleted, moved, or pasted over.
