Filter data in table with slicers

What is a slicer?

Slicers are visual filters that have edit, delete, and customize options. You can now interactively filter your table data without depending on the traditional filter options.

How to add a slicer to your table

To add a slicer to your table:
  1. Navigate to Format > Table > Add Slicer.
  2. Alternatively, select any cell within your table. Open the side pane to access customization options for your table. 
  3. Scroll down and click Add Slicer.
  4. Choose the preferred data fields from the list and click OK.


How to customize slicer settings

  1. Select the preferred slicer and click  to turn multiple selections on or off.
  2. Alternatively, from the side pane, under the General tab, you can choose the selection type and sorting order.
  3. To clear the filter, click  or select the Clear option from the side pane.



How to delete a slicer  

To delete a slicer:
  1. Select the slicer you want to remove, then press Delete on your keyboard, or right-click on it and choose Delete from the contextual menu.
  2. Alternatively, you can select the Delete option from the side pane to delete the slicer. 

How to customize a slicer and its buttons  

To customize a slicer and its buttons:

From the side pane, under the Design tab, you can choose to customize the preferred slicer's display header, style, and font as well as the button's column layout, width, and height.
