A button is one of the objects available in Zoho Sheet that allows you to execute an action when clicked. You can assign macros or custom functions to a button and run the macro with the click of the button every time.
Go to Insert > Button. Once you've inserted the button, you can name it.
To rename the button, click (...) on the top-right of the button and select Edit Label.
Click (...) on the top-right of the button and select Assign New Macro
In the dialog that appears, select Record Macro or Write Macro based on whether you wish to record a macro or write a macro code.

Click (...) on the top-right of the button and select Assign New Custom Function
In the dialog that appears, enter the function name that you wish to create and select the Result Type and click Save. In the editor, create your function and assign it to your button.
Cloning a button refers to creating a replica of the existing button that has the same name and functionality, which can be edited further.
Click (...) on the top-right of the button and select Clone
Deleting a button will also result in deleting the macro function assigned to it. To delete a button:
